Ideal for a solo traveler
The moment I walked in, the owner, Lauren, greeted me like an old friend. She even remembered my name and made sure to ask about my work, a nice personal touch, really. Plus, I enjoyed sitting by the fire with a cozy drink, it felt like home away from home. The food was simple yet delicious, everything cooked perfectly, just what I needed after a long day.
It wasn’t cheap, perhaps a bit on the pricey side for a solo stay, though still reasonable.

Lovely stay in a cozy spot
We had a fab night! The staff was super friendly, especially the young girl who took care of us. The room was neat and comfy. The shower was really nice. The best part? The food was amazing! That Italian special linguine was a must-try. Just wish the bed wasn't two mattresses together. felt a bit weird.

missingWrote a review on May 22comfortable bedbeautiful viewwelcoming staffpoor shower pressureslow check-in
I spent one night in a Superior King Room. The room was spacious and clean, with an amazing view that made waking up feel special. The bed was comfortable, allowing for a great night's sleep. The food was exceptional, particularly the dinner which was delicious. Breakfast service was much better than dinner. The staff were friendly and welcoming, enhancing the overall experience. On the downside, the shower pressure wasn't great. That affected the shower experience, making it less enjoyable. Check-in took longer than expected since we had to wait at the bar. There's a need for a dedicated check-in area to streamline the process. the location was convenient, especially for visiting nearby attractions like Highclere Castle, making it a lovely spot for a quick getaway.

Dinner was delicious, adding to the overall charm of the place. I believe the rooms, while clean, could benefit from a little refurbishment.
